Fifth Annual Free Family Concert

Description

In its fifth year, this free, one-hour concert introduces children of all ages to the magical world of the symphony orchestra. This family fun event, being held at Oakland Middle School, begins at 10 a.m. with hands-on activities that lead up to the concert.

This concert is the annual side-by-side with the Murfreesboro Youth Orchestra and features the MSO and the winner of the annual Emerging Artist competition. Additionally, the Siegel Foundation/MSO Musical Excellence Awards are presented to outstanding city and county school music students.

This event is free due through the generosity of the following companies: The Community Foundation of Middle TN, General Mills, The Murfreesboro Electric Customers Care, The Richard Siegel Foundation and Walmart!

Although this event is free a ticket is required.
